Aesthetics clinic skin boosters aftercare

Aftercare

Please follow the guidance below to ensure appropriate aftercare

Immediate Aftercare

Avoid Disturbing the Treated Area
While the treated area may feel slightly different at first, it’s important for aftercare to avoid touching, rubbing, or applying pressure.

Sleep Position
Following anti-wrinkle treatment at The In Clinic, for appropriate aftercare, please do not lay down for the first four-hours to prevent migration of the injection solution. Where possible try to sleep on your back for the first 24-hours after treatment.

Following dermal filler, where possible sleep on your back for the first week after treatment for appropriate aesthetics aftercare.

Avoid physical exertion
For the first 24-48 hours post-treatment, it’s best to minimise vigorous exercise. Such activities could increase blood flow, potentially causing the injectable to move from the treatment area and also increase the risk of swelling and bruising.

Limit Heat and Sun Exposure
Heat and sun can increase swelling or discomfort post-treatment. It’s recommended to shield the treated area from the sun and always use a high SPF sunscreen.

Avoid swimming pools/ jacuzzi
Any injectable treatment leaves a small access point in the skin, it is important to minimise the risk of infection by keeping these areas clean and dry and avoiding areas used by multiple people such as pools and spas until the small injection wounds have fully healed.

Aftercare in the first 1-2 Weeks

Avoid further aesthetic treatments/ massage/ facials
It is important to avoid any pressure on the treated area for at least two-weeks to prevent filler migration and to also to preserve the longevity of the treatment.

Long-term Aftercare

Beyond the first week, long-term care becomes a vital aspect of preserving the effects of your treatment.

Regular Treatments
For sustained results, regular treatment is recommended. The frequency will vary depending on you as an individual and your bodies metabolism.

Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
A healthy lifestyle, including balanced nutrition, hydration, regular exercise, and a consistent skincare regimen, including using SPF, will further prolong the results of your treatment.
